Hello, world (again)

10 years ago, I wrote my first blog post on bitsofcode.

It was introduction to myself and why I decided to start that blog, which was all about web development. I wrote:

So I have decided to start this blog, “bits of code”, where I share my ever growing knowledge about web development. Particularly little code bits that, as a developer, you could get away with not writing [yourself], but you should. Or things that you may be writing but don’t really understand why. I’m sure there will be things I just learn that pretty much all developers already know about, but I guess I have accepted that I might look stupid!

Today, my reason for writing (again) is the same. I’m learning new things all the time. This time about technology, finance, business. About history, reading, and cultures. About life.

Writing has always been a way for me to consolidate my knowledge, teaching myself through teaching others. And a way for me to document, and remember, my experiences and learnings.

So, like before, I’ve decided to start writing again on this blog, “open daybook”, where I’ll share my ever growing knowledge about anything I’m learning. Like before, I want to share little bits of life that you may not necessarily think are worth writing about. Or just things in my life I want to document. And like before, I’ve accepted that I might look stupid starting this.
